Anyone Know?
 

Was driving with a friend on Saturday afternoon, coming from Rossendale Rd at Rosgrove, Burnley....

There had been a bad accident on Accrington Rd the (A679) coming towards Rosegrove, Spoke to the copper and he said the road would be closed for about 2-3 hours, we think someone perhaps died at the scene, later drove through again Saturday evening i was taking her home, Looks like someone had skidded for about 2-300 yards then drove into the wall, could still see debri from the accident.... Looked quite bad!

Just wondering if anyone knows anything more about it! :)

Read about this in last nights Telegraph (Burnley edition) turns out it was a Vauxhall Combo van turning into the Enviro skips yard when a 600cc motorbike hit the side of it, the impact was that bad that it turned the van onto its side, bike rider has a broken neck and was from the Rossendale area, cant remember if it said rawtenstall or ramsbottom
