Thinking about it he probably wouldn't drown. With just one side thrashing about he'd just keep going around in circles.

i had a lovely lunch at the willows with our nette a couple of months back very nice too ...sat on the patio overlooking the res .......hope the sun shines that day rindy .....

Thanks to you lot I had a very nice lunch today, though I think four hours is stretching lunch into afternoon teatime really.

The staff were very friendly and efficent, and the food is very reasonably priced, and if the weather was good it would be lovely to sit outside, though even from inside there are great views over the reservoir towards Darwen Tower.

On a personal level it was a rewarding time, as although this guy is in a fairly similar state healthwise to me, I'm much more together and stronger emotionally. He said I cheered him up, made him laugh, and encouraged him that the future isn't all bleak, and next week I'm having lunch with him and his pregnant wife.

All in all, a very enjoyable day.:)

I want somewhere different to go for lunch. :rolleyes:
