Horse Manure

Just wondered if anyone knows anywhere locally that I can get some horse manure from, usually its advertised in the paper but I can't seem to find any & need lots of it for my garden.

Thanks for any help.

Hello WKD.. not being funny.. but is this a wind up?
this may not be any use for your garden but there's plenty of it here:

I think only foals and horses let you have it, if you make a small donation ( cash donation that is)

:D

Your post made me smile as I posted a similar one on our village website this week. I wanted well-rotted horse manure already bagged. I've managed to locate some in the Warrington area and am going to fetch some tomorrow - nothing like it for fertilising the soil. :)

There are a lot of horses in our village and quite often they go down our road. If they're incontinent I'm out there with my shovel but I think they've all been constipated for a while. Must get some senna pods!

Good luck with your search. ;)

Re: Horse Manure

Most livery yards would gladly let you have the manure, some will charge but usually you have to shovel it yourself.
