It's not that warm Eric, even Wreck Beach would have "little" problems right now.

Wow, just walked home in stuff I don't remember happening before.

It was hitting me like small hail stone, but arriving on the floor like snow, the level kept increasing, meanwhile just to add to confusion somewhere over the horizon, lightening seemed to appear.

Glad to be home and out of.

The country's a ruddy joke, the mere mention of a snowflake or two and it's batten down the hatches ,dig in,shut the roads, make alternative plans

£6? That's not bad for four winter tyres. Or was that £6 each?

Seriously, what is 'Snowtrax'? Never heard of it and it isn't on Google.

Ahh! For walking in? Not good for you!

I'll stick to 4WD and a big heater.

Got a couple of pairs off Amazon first week of this year Rob . Mrs P's on a NY fitness kick and has used them extensively. Impressed.
Used mine on last weekends walk from Gamecock over the Nab.
Mine have a velcro over strap to help keep them on on rough terrain, simple DIY mod to Mrs P's and she's happy.

Walking?

From the Gamecock over the Nab?

There's a road there, life's too short for walking. And if you can't get there using an engine it's not worth going.

Anyway, you'll wear those nice driving boots out!
