Or too much (water)when La Palma splits
"Even after crossing
the Atlantic, a lateral collapse of Cumbre Vieja volcano could impose a great sequence of waves of 10-25 m height on the
shores of the Americas."

Tonite: chance of thunder showers; and we need it. May continue into tomorrow. But for the weekend, fantastic weather.

And in Canada, we don't need to worry about running out of water. Which country has most of the world's fresh water? You have 3 guesses.

Dag panther, I'm already moaning. Those reports of very hot dry conditions are showing my extreme frustration by it all. The farm, garden and landscaping is getting crushed over here!

Re: weather??

My brother and his family are driving down to St.Ives in Cornwall. They set off last night at 10pm, hoping to miss the worst of the traffic.

They've just called now to say they are only near Bristol. Apparently parts of the M5 are under three feet of flood water. Traffic is being re-routed on to country lanes because it's so bad. They stopped at a service station, but so has everyone else, and the place has run out of food and drink.

The British summer, what a washout.:(

What a nightmare for them garinda, hope that they finally get to where they are going not to stressed out and that they can enjoy their holiday.

My dad , stepmum and my daughter set out for Devon yesterday evening; they were stuck on the M5 for 12 solid hours. They have finally got to Appledore now; it's a good job they had packed sandwiches and drinks.:(
