22° C. here , tee-shirt and shorts weather , cherry trees are coming into bud , big problems ahead though , no rainfall again this winter , looks like water rationing next summer

Hey, what a coincidence, it's 22c here too .... well, -22; it's only a 44 degree difference:eek: The Big Chill is playing all across Canada today: Winterpeg and Regina/Saskatoon are about -35; and once you get into northern Manitoba it's around -50 ... just heard on the news, that the Polar Express is heading into the American mid-west ... don't bother to thank us; sharing is what any good neighbour should do:tongueout

If you don't have sufficient rainfall, what does this do to the fire risk? I sincerely hope you are not looking at another summer of California burning.

looks like we are in for some really bad weather next week...... already bought a load of salt and sand.... its also a good idea to keep a bit of old carpet in the car in case you get stuck in the snow: this will help the tires to grip:

The only people who get stuck in the snow are those who don't know how to drive;)

Nice sunny day; up to -12, but overnight with the windchill, it will be down to around -30 ... by Sunday/Monday, it will be up to a balmy -7 with snow.
