I was just wondering as to what happens when somebody gets banned from the site. Is the individual free to re-join under a different name or is their IP address blocked?

Just curious, thats all.

I think their IP is blocked, tho depends how long the ban is set indefinately or temporary ban, which i dont get:confused:

well surely if thier ip is blocked they wouldnt be able to even view the site ? just guessing

if they were really bothered to get back on they could just block their ip address and back on they go...

IP bans only work if you have a static IP. Most people's IP changes each time there modem/router/whatever connects to the net.

I think thats a matter between the mods and the members and not to be posted on site.
