Re: laughing child
maybe your kids have loaded it on, probably kicks in as a screen saver after several minutes of none use, i think you should try that train of thought first....he he!

Re: laughing child
Sounds like a screensaver kicking in, right click on the desktop > Properties > Screen Saver and see what is activated. Change it to another.

If Neal's advice doesn't work, call the Observer, you'll be front page news.:D
GHOST CHILD HAS LAST LAUGH. |
Re: laughing child
Do you have AIM? Some people choose the sound of a laughing child as their log-in and log-out audio.
|
Re: laughing child
hope it soon gets sorted .....
|
Re: laughing child
If it only happens when you are online it is far more likely to be someone on your AIM buddy list than a screensaver as that would happen offline too.

Re: laughing child
Prob AIM like others have said, once happened to me and took me ages to find what it was, this wasn't a child crying though it was a sheep, all i got was baaa baaa

Telegraph headlines hardly ever make sense... or have two meanings... I know this is a bit of topic but been wanting to say it for ages :D |
Re: laughing child
If it was a screensaver how come it didn't do it unless you were online? I'd have expected the same screensaver to kick in on or off-line. How strange. That's why I thought it more likely to have been an AIM log-in. They startle me if I'm sitting here all quiet and a 'buddy' suddenly comes online with a very loud log-in audio. :D

Re: laughing child
i only turn the speakers up when im online,i never thought of checking if the laugh comes when im not online, thanks willow im going to try and see if it does laugh when im not online,

Re: laughing child
