As a said on an earlier thread (and almost made Wynonie choke :D) what this country is lacking in it's youth (and in this case young adults) is respect for everyone.

If you wouldn't like them to do it to you then don't do it to them, simple rule and one I have lived by for most of my life.

I hope she is cr*pp*ng herself seeing the papers and worried sick she's recognised.

I mean how the h*ll can anyone do that to an 80 year old bloke who was only trying to get some peace from her incessant nattering (I bet it was "yeah but no but yeah but and Tracey went you know etc. ad infinitum).

There are days I worry about the ability of this nations populace to feed itself.

if she had spat on me i would have dived on her, but a 80 year old is despicable, what if this dirty pathetic excuse for a woman had TB or any other contagious disease, the poor old sod wouldnt stand a chance!!.......i hope she is caught soon

I don't recognise the evil madam but I truly hope someone else knows her and lets it be known; pathetic, anti social behaviour that need sorting out ! ( put her name on here and we can all go and spit on her grandad , see how that goes down !)

i think its absolutley vile!

im a bus driver in blackburn and ive been spat at ect before all these 'kits' came out. every lancs united and blackburn transport bus has on it in the drivers cab a dna kit for the spit and runners, but you cant wipe the dna off because of cross contamination.

i hope shes found and named and shamed - but what are the chances of that the police in blackburn arent able to find the nose on there face!!

A girl I know was on the bus when this happened to that man. I hope they catch her for being so nasty, its terrible how people treat the older community these days, and it isnt just young adults either as there are middle aged adults in care homes who treat them badly aswell.

Its not just teens and young adults who show lack of respect for the community though, alot of older people show disrespect to the younger ones aswell.

Spitting in someones face is a terrible thing to do and most young people that I know would never dream of doing such a think, so i think its unfair to discuss the lack of respect young people have for the community just because of one vile woman.

The girl who was on the bus at the time told me the old man didnt want to have it done and just wanted to wipe it off and not bother taking it further.
If the woman is caught though she will still get convicted of assault with or without the dna anyway as its all on cctv. I hope she feels ashamed when she see's her face in the paper!

Still quite peeved about this as she hasn't been found. Why didn't anybody from the bus do anything?

In other words, I guess you guys don't have the rights of Citizen's Arrest? Over here every Citizen has the right (and possibly obligation) to detain a person that commits or is in the act of committing a crime. In this case assault.
