:DJust been for carvery at the old mother red cap, was abolsute brill! :D

The food is good and so is the price , £3.50!!!!!!!:eek::eek::D:D:D

However i was wondering are there any more carverys near to accrington or in accrington :) ???:confused::confused:

Ahhhh not that whole thing , and hardly anyone goes on anything goes , and i needed to ask the question of are there any more carverys near to accrington or in accrington and so i went and posted a thread on the questions and answers section :D ;)

Usually large joints of beef pork gammon lamb in a hot table that you choose to have have with your spuds etc. The chef carves it and serves so you can have a bit of each if you want.

Try the Whittakers on Burnley Road on a Sunday, think it's around 8 quid a head so more expensive than the Recap but it's well worth the money

I'm sure i read that katex had recently been to the Mother Redcap and she had been disappointed......maybe they read the review and made amends .

my favourite carvery is the Rose and Bowl at stacksteads bin going over 20yrs now n never had a crap un. have a bowling green at the back n its nice to sit out n have a drink after.(weather permitting);)

Yep its good there mrjdallen and yes its easy for wheel chairs , the carpark is flat and the door way is flat so very easy magpie :)

id rather serve meself than have someone serving me, would feel abit uncomfortable, just put the grub on the table and lets us get on with it!;):D
