consumer law/trading standards lawyer - anyone know of one local ?
 

I am trying to find a lawyer who deals with consumer rights/trading standards in accrington or close by..

I have a company who have threatened me legal action in regards to something which was spoke about last year but nothing signed in agreement - they are now saying I owe them xxx amount or legal action will follow..so I wanna get in first:mad:

so who do we know thats cheap ?

Check you house Insurance, might have Free Legal Advise.

Or reply yourself with a nicely worded letter.

done the letter already, but this guy is apparently someone who thinks he is the big cheese..so I dont think the letter will work...his scare tactic letter only got my back up nothing more !

Tell him to provide evidence of any agreement or see you in court. They would laugh him out ofg court if he can't provide anything.

I have asked him in my nice letter to actually explain the legal action he plans to take against me if the matter isnt settled and would it be breach of contract without a contract actually existing ?

I just dont need this just now with baby due amongst other things..

Why not contact the Trading Standards Office themselves - usually give good advice on these matters
