It's time you got rid of them before they force you to move, by the sound of things it aint good.

BBC - Action Network - How to deal with nuisance neighbours
This link might be useful to you.

I have lived in eleven different houses. I know what torment bad neighbours can be. On my last move I sold my (owned) terraced house because I had bad neighbours on both sides. I was so desperate to move that I sold it for much less than its value, but could do that because I had been offered a council tenancy on medical grounds.

I have 'let lucky' and now live where the SILENCE took some getting used to. -it is really wonderful to have peace and quiet. Now that I have found how wonderful that is I would fight tooth and nail to keep it this way.

It isn't fair when people lose money on selling their home probably because of noisy neighbours, just glad that you now have the peace that everyone deserves:(

Re: nuisance neighbours

Wish I had listened a little harder to the radio at lunch, were discussing this very subject with a couple who lived next door to someone who had six dogs and constant barking. The council gave them some sort of sound recorder for evidence.. problem was, she had just had a baby and difficult when she was feeding, etc. The council spokesman said was extremely difficult with animals .. not like confiscating someone's music system.

Not sure if you can hear these programmes again on the BBC site or not .. was the Jeremy Vine slot, but someone else covering. Suppose they need some sort of hard evidence and sound recordings were the only way.

Just seen yer last post Kath .. that's good news, eh.. specially with baby on the way .. will post anyway .. might be of help to someone in future. :Banane04:

Hope you get a good nights sleep tonight, and that your new neighbours when you get them are a lot nicer.
