Lancashire Mix?

I was in the sweetie shop today - treating myself and was having a look at what they had and they had Yorkshire Mix sitting up on the shelf. I hadnt had any of that for ages so thought for a change instead of sarsparillas or coltsfoot rock i'd have that. Anyway the question is - Is there a Lancashire Mix like the Yorkshire Mix? Ive never seen one.

What, no Yorkshire pudding?:D

What a poor do.

I'd have expected it to consist of misshapen Pontefract cakes. All the stuff you mentioned isn't even peculiar to Yorkshire.

I'm sure I saw a lancashire mix in an old fashioned sweet shop in Canterbury......it had mint balls, brandy balls,Kendal mint cake some green and yellow spirals shaped sweet.scented satins and some other sweets I could only guess at....since I didn't buy any. Like mick says maybe they were just concocted from the leavings of several different jars, and named to get shut of them.

I went in and bought some chocolate coated chewing nuts, Toasted teacakes, and buttered brazils.......and came out 3 pounds lighter in the purse area ( 2lbs heavier in the hip area - and that was just thinking about eating them)
