Re: car insurance?

It is best to do an internet search because insurance rates differ vastly according to your own circumstances.
I do a search every year, but despite that I found the cheapest for the last 2 years was found for me by Owen & Ewing brokers on Union Rd

Re: car insurance?

Well i mean come on your asking about deals when you havent supplied any details like car, mileage, post code, age etc etc etc But just one thing...

Dont forget to try pay as you drive from norwich union.

Re: car insurance?

each company has its target demographic. The cheapest quote is the one you fit into as they are trying to get your business. It rarely stays the same from year to year so you should always spend an hour or two searching.

So who does teh best deal, every one of them as long as ou fit teh customer profile they are looking to recruit

Re: car insurance?

Car insurance companies work on the presumption that, once you are covered and have a direct debit, you will automatically renew with them because it is easy, it is my experience that you should do a search every single year, that is the only way to guarantee cheapest. Also, watch the different terms and conditions, the range is fantastic in regard to what is covered.

I was with Saga, but when I had a articulated wagon run into the back of me, they were most unhelpful sorting out the claim. The other driver's insurance accepted responsiblty within a week, once Saga knew it would not cost them anything they were very unhelpful about helping me. I had an MG (it was just after Rover/MG went bankrupt) and there was a lengthy delay in getting parts. Saga made me negoiate with the other insurance company to get a hire car, were absolute rubbish at answering calls and never got back to me with answers.
