This is 6 year old beauty queen, Jonbenet Ramsey.

I quite agree that children caked in make-up and wearing clothes that are much too old for them are a paedophile's paradise.

However, I'm sure that AccyLass isn't going to let her daughter go to these lengths. There's nothing wrong with girls having their nails done.

Of course they are sick...but they are not exactly going to get cured while supposidly responsible adults encourage their children to dress and look like grown-ups.

If they are not cured, then they should not be out!
But that is a totally different discussion

Nothing has been mentioned in this thread about "dressing grown up"
My daughter dresses like every other 9 yr old
She is getting a "treat" for her birthday

1 of the reasons for teaching my daughter about make up and having nice nails and hair and such like is then she doesn't think it's right or feel the need to get "caked" in make up.

If I was to think about these paedophiles in every decision I make about my children, then they would not step foot out of the house, would they

Since when can sexuality be cured. Didn't some christians try and do that with homosexuality?

Anyway, I think its good to let young girls go to salons and have their nails done and their hair cut, thats NORMAL. What ISN'T normal is the very America child pageant thing that goes over the top with make-up and clothes on little girls.

However, I don't believe it will encourage paedophiles more either, as paedophiles are generally attracted to children and making children look like adults surely would put them off if anything?

Saying that lesbians often go for women who look like blokes and gay people often act overly feminine so who knows, maybe you're right!

Having your nails done hardly converts you into a little tart does it? That's as ridiculous as people who say girls who get raped 'ask for it' with the way they dress. Not fair at all.

They look lovely, I since found out that they do beauty days for youngsters in the parlour just at the bottom of my road, though it doesnt really do hair so I guess it'd be more a nails and perhaps facial thing? I think it's a good idea and looks fun.

You best watch her for stealing all your make up now!

Oh yeah, I keep it well under wraps.

When the lady was asking Saff which lip gloss she wanted on, she pointed to the Christian Dior 1:o Hope she don't want me buying her designer ones:confused:lol
