Re: Which party do you support?

I remember being told when I was young that it was my duty to vote ....people had died so that I had the right to vote .......you can't complain if you don't vote! Well I do vote but next time, who knows and who for??????? - the country seems to be a bit out of control and going in a strange direction. Do you think we should have a coup - perhaps accy could rise up and do the necessary.

I think so, there are a lot of people who don't vote, and then have the cheek to complain about the results of thier inaction, myself included, I have missed votes and whinged later, I will vote in future.

Its based on a few bits of reputation people have sent.

I see BNP are now in the lead. Disgraceful.

Can anyone on here even outline BNP's policies without looking on their website to check?

I didn't say I support human trafficking either. Immigration involves choosing to move to another country, not being shipped off to one against your own will.

Calling me cruel for liking immigrants. You are must be very ignorant if you dont understand the difference between immigration and human trafficking.

I'm not the one voting for them.

I know the main idea behind the party refers to 'ancestors' of the country who have been here for millenia. In other words if you haven't got generations of family who have been born in the country then they dont want to protect your rights.

It was part of the programme I mentioned about the different types of race found in most peoples blood, but I cant remember the programmes name though. They proved that the BNP would have to forget about the majorities rights though as they only managed to find one person in their study with 100% british blood and I think it was either camilla parker bowles or a politician.

So you don't know their policies but see fit to call anyone who votes for them stupid, racists and a disgrace to Accyweb. Not very well thought out is it ?

I know their main mission statement which I would normally cal a policy. Of course I think it goes deeper to talk about discrimination against brits, in otherwords people who feel sorry for themselves, and talks about how we should win back our land.

I know enough about the group to know what they stand for, I dont know their policy word for word.

As already said I dont follow politics so I dont know mission statements of most political parties, particularly not the BNP who only get on telly for bad reasons, I just know what each political party stands for.

If the BNP were so fantastic they wouldn't have the reputation they have. I'll be interested to see the result of the next elections but I can rest assured that there aren't quite enough idiots in the country to get them enough votes, and when all the older generation die out and there isnt as much of a grudge against the tories I believe they will overwhelm the labour party.

Normally you wait a few posts before contradicting yourself. Well done :)

You'll find I haven't used the word racist in the entire thread as well, not towards BNP or accyweb.

Yes the idea of it not the actual word for word definition. Unless you are going to tell me I got it spot on? Surely the mission statement is longer than 1 sentence?

Did I call Accyweb nazi's or did I say the idea behind the BNP's method was similar to what the Nazi's started off with?
