My friend incidently brought up this exact same issue with BNP today, said that something he had read showed a rise in BNP voters and I mentioned this, and he wasn't surprised and said its happening everywhere.

I cant imagine a country run by BNP, and I think if it ever came to that alot of people would probably choose to immigrate themselves!

Unless you mean more people would come to live here because of the BNP I suspect you mean emigrate.

This thread goes to show the problem with immigration, it seems you are either expected to say yes or no to it. Until we can discuss it based on something in between the debate will always go round in circles.

Got an e- mail I would like to share. Allegedly Michael Richards better known as Kramer from TV’s Seinfeld made some interesting points in his defence speech in court after making racial comments in his comedy act. I have not validated the speech contents but the points supposedly made are worth an airing.

A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American
pageant, but any colour can be in the Miss America pageant.
If we had a college fund that only gave white students

in the US . Yet if there were 'White colleges' THAT

marching for your race and rights. If we marched for

white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats

I am proud.
But you call me a racist.
Why is it that only whites can be racists?

That's rubbish. There have been lots of well documented cases were non-whites have been prosecuted for racist crimes, both here in the UK and in the USA.

From my own personal experience the most overt racism I've ever witnessed was by asians against blacks in east Africa.

I like that - it really says it all. What a shame it has come to that. However, I still believe we are all members of the same race - the human race. OK we are different shades of that race but even a rainbow has colour and we all enjoy looking at a rainbow!
