Portugal Prices

Anyone been to Portugal, if so what's prices like. I'm mainly talking food and drink? Thinking about holidays for summer but haven't decided where to yet.

My other halfs son has holiday property in Portugal Sara, and in the holiday resorts its dearer than say, Spain, but can be a lot better that Spain for a holiday

only been portugal when cruising sara, impression i got "food @drink" wise, thought it was a bit dearer than Andulucia.

Thanks for replies. Had one holiday already this year, and am thinking about getting a cheapie. Still don't know what to do.

we just got what i term a good deal,last week, 2 wks H/B just over £700, but thats to my favourite place Benalmadena, price is 2 adults,flights,tranfers from malaga. got it off the net.;)

what i thought slinks n know the hotel its just behind our apartment.;) got a quote from thompsons in accy was nearly £400 more for same hotel.;)

I have gone with thompsons for mine in May. I think I might be adventurous and book on-line next time :D

depending on SOFT ARSE ( ginger ) :) If we enjoy this one, we are looking to go somewhere in September/october time.

Its surprising just what good deals there are to be had on the net cashy, my graddaughter got a quote from the trave agent for North Africa, then went on the net and got the same holiday at the same hotel for £250 cheaper.
