Well, 'sort of Slinky .. :spank:

Sorry, serious hat on tonight .. really deaths have been caused by this practice, particularly amongst university students who think it is cool, but far from it .. very, very hot. If you had listened to the mother whose fireman son (and his colleague) had been killed by someone putting one on top of their telly, you would understand.

I only put that, because I googled Jeremy Vine - tea lights. That was the very first thing that appeared in google. I tried to search for the one you was talking about and can't find it anywhere.

Google it........

Well I can find the replay thingy .. but not sure how to do it .. can't get any further than the right hand side where it tells you to 'Listen again' but worth listening to if you can:-

BBC - Radio 2 - Shows - Jeremy Vine

In the meantime, please use a proper candle holder Accywebbers.

This was the sad story that inspired the feature on Jeremy Vine's programme.

Mine went off at about 8.50pm I was just sitting down to watch The Apprentice, and was even more worried that i'd miss Torchwood!!! lol.

Harry was petrified, it was quite amusing though because he was stood in the middle of the room when it went off and started trying to run around and I had to start trying to find him! We all jumped into the car and went up to my Dads on Bright Street it was fine up there.

The lights were on from Rhyddings Street upwards on Union Road. I don't know if there was something on at the Town Hall but there were loads of people stood outside when I was going up to my Dads. That must have been scary half way through a show and the lights go off, and you have to get down all them stairs!

Normally if your house lights fuse, there's still the glow from the street lights, but it really was pitch black last night.

I felt like Audrey Hepburn in 'Wait Until Dark', scambling around trying to get my bearings, and a lighter for the candles.:D
