when sky came to upgrade MIL to Sky + he said he had to put a bolt in the wall to fasten his ladder to as he can't work up a ladder without it being strapped down. so he then climbed the ladder to fit the bolt!!!!!

when he finished we asked if he could leave the eyelet in as it would make a nice hanging basket hook, Oh no mate, I only get 1 each week, I can't leave it here as I need it for teh next job.

Rather reminds me of the ad on TV the one where the guy says I was told to install an alarm system but was given the wrong type of ladder, I got £7500 and I didn't have to go to court. I find myself shouting at the telly you shouldn't have used the flaming ladder numb nuts is you own bleeding fault

Working on site without safety equipment, hard hat, goggles etc, no-one to 'foot' the ladder or with the ladder insecure, working outside using a 240 volt drill instead of 110v.

I reckon they had employed a 'cowboy' and he should pay them £7,500 for damaging company equipment.

:D
