Sexy Texy ?
 
Don't think should be in the over 18's .. please feel free to move if necessary though.

Just had a 'phone call from a mobile number, not one I recognised, however, did answer even though easy number ...07953 966066 (as call centres do :rolleyes:)
saying they had a text message for me ? 'Couldn't quite get the message between me ear and me brain, repeated twice and could pick up at least the last three words ... sex, sex, sex and if I wished to hear the message again, then ring the number as above quoted.

OK ? so presume yet another scam of some sort, never had this before though.

thats one thing i dont do Kate, i dont answer a call when the number isnt already logged into my phone or it is witheld

I don't normally Flashy, but this came through on my landline .. just presumed a wrong number. I never answer withhelds, internationals, no numbers, etc. but mobiles I do, as never been any type of scam before ... first time for everything I guess.... :o

Well ... did you call the number? And "sex" is not three words, it's one;)

lol, on that subject..... came home yesterday to find someone had put flower petals all over my door step........

probably one of the kids on the street but made me smile :D

I don't think I'm the sort of person who attracts men who do the whole, big romantic gesture sort of thing.

I know I'm married (and love him dearly) but would love someone to make some sort of romantic gesture that caught me by surprise. Even if I never found out who it was from.

Just to know that I've still got it! Actually, I don't think I've ever had it - but you know what I mean!

Its not a scam, its a text to voice messaging system :

Fresh services from Carphone Warehouse

Its for when people send text messages to landlines that cant display the message as text

Check the links emamum posted in post 3. Alternatively type the number, that katex was asked to ring if she wanted to hear the message again, into Google. Others have been asked to ring the very same number.

It’s a chat line - Money Saving Expert. Looks like a scam to me.

Err those are from 2006 ? The text to voice is a relatively new service.Just google the actual phone number and you`ll see.

Yer right, they are oldish links, I did Google it and those links came before the link you gave in your post. Guess I assumed they were newer info than yours, more fool me to assume :rolleyes:...the texting a landline thingy has been going for years now tho, 2004 at least.

Either way, if you aint sure of the number, dont ring it :)

What yu are hearing as sex sex sex, is probably X X X, as in kisses at the end of a text.

Once accidently sent a saucy text to a taxi firm's land line. Very embarassing when they phoned me back later!!

Noticed on the other postings that had been linked to that someone did say "Maybe someone sent text saying "Welcome to the chat line" as a hoax". Not had that text to mobile or landline (dont want it either thanks)
