Hi all,
Me and my husband have decided we want a tattoo done.
So i thought i would come and ask you all where is the best place to go?

I believe the best place is in Darwen, my friend got hers done there. I can't think of the name of the place but I will ask her.

I went to a new one in Accy on Victoria Street. Its a woman owned and she was really good. I can't think of the name now, I know really helpful but she was really good and I'm going back soon to have my ankle one re-done (done by a friend not her).

Very true! Its really going to bug me now till I find out what they are both called.

I did have her card but I've just been looking for it and can't find it. Might have to have a drive down later bfore I go to work and find out :D

Didn't he do another one wrong as well? Last year or year before that? I can't remember much about it now, but read in the paper he spelt someone's name wrong or something.

I can reccommend one up Whalley road just further up than the castle pub on the same side,not sure what its called but the guy that runs it is called frank,great guy and a really good experienced tattoo artist.

i was going to go to that one loz till someone told me that someone got hepititas from it, the one across the road from that is supposed to be ok though

I would be surprised if that was frank.
Mick across the road from the castle i know has infected people before but franks is really hygenic.

She got an infection from mick across from the castle!
Frank is further up from the castle on the same side.

I HAD MY TATTOO DONE AND IT DIDNT HURT !!!!!!!!!!
I had it done at the tattooers in darwen,it was Lee Woods that did it and i would highly recommend him.
He was resonably priced and very friendly. If and when i want my next one i will be going back there.

I didnt have anything i dont think :rolleyes: He squirted some stuff on my arm but i think that was to clean it.... And before any one says it no i dont have dirty arms :D
Hubbie had the same one done aswell and he said it really hurt,but he is really skinny and i am what you could describe as cuddly.So i guess a bit of extra meat helped me out :p
Hubbies tattoo bled but mine didnt so i guess im thick skinned aswell !

i have been a friend now of franks for a long time and i can guarantee that everything he uses is sterelised and cleaned its the other guy u gotta watch for across from the castle pub..... i say instead of listening to rumours go av a look for urself.........

Its nothing exciting really,the T is the first letter of my sons name,the KBK is the first letter of mine and my husbands name and our surname and the last K is the first letter of my daughters name. :)

Thats really nice, what a lovely idea.

I want another tattooo but I don't what of and I don't know where.

I saw a nice one I was going to have between my shoulders, but I'm not sure about having it on show like that. I have one on my ankle the other is on my hip, I prefer them a little more covered up myself.

The fella i went to was really good and he had a load of designs to choose from aswell.
I saw a panda that looked like that one that did the biscuit advert,maybe i could have it on my stomach as biscuits are the reason i am so round :p

Bottom of my back pipples, i so wanted a black heart but he said if it was all black it would just look like a cover-up, i was gutted, but i love this one....come on lad your slacking, i got 2 before you got 1 ;)

i got 3 tattoos given to me on the nhs

1 on each side of my hips and one at the base of my spine

granted its only 3 dots but if you join them together you get a stud:p

i couldn't endure 3 hours all at once, your a brave fella, it's not only having the tatt done it's also the stinging afterwards and trying to position yourself so you don't rub your clothes or anything else on it, i was walking cautiously yesterday because the top of my pants where rubbing on the tatt, and mine is only ickle, you must have hurt for ages after that

I personally don't have any & I doubt that I ever will, at one point in my younger days I was tempted but I never got that drunk to go through with it. Still I've seen quite a few & I must say some are really good & artistic but others I don't really see the point in at all.

In reference to shazs last post, I always thought the idea of a tattoo was so it would be on display for people to view ! I mean if you're spending quite a bit of money on some "Artwork" I'd have thought you'd be only to pleased to display it ?

Mine are all on my arm. The first one I got was to promote an organisation called: To Write Love On Her Arm. Where I got 'Love' on my arm - I've now got it in four languages.

I've got BRFC and 1875 on my right and left arm (not to many people's taste - I know - but I like them. And the red rose of Lancashire on my other inside arm.
