I agree, Accy Web is like a virtual family.

We argue, share, laugh, and hopefully respect each other.

Some members of the family you are more closer to than others, then there are the mad ones you happily only occasionally see at funerals, and weddings.:D

we have made some good friends on Accyweb.
It has made us laugh and made us cry.
Accyweb as seen us through good times and some bad. We would be lost without accyweb.

I've only met Neil and Romps in person, everyone else I've only talked to online.

I love coming on and having a laugh though and there's many that I feel I know even though we've not met. :D

It has only dawned on me today, that I met Bernadette in the early 80s.
I suspect that I knew Wynonie Harris - he says he 'lived on Claret St' - if he had short dark curly hair then I might well have.

Accyweb for me is something that frustrates me half the time but that i miss when i can't get to it.

I find out more about what's going on in the area that I find out through any other means. I also know who reads it so if I want to say something subtly then it's an ideal place to say it.

You can visit Accy Web and feel that you are in a room full of friends or raving lunatics. Despite Accrington having its problems we all still love the place.

Well for me its a place for keeping intouch with home. Its a place to keep up with friends and its a place to keep in with all kinds of gossip.
Its not as good as it used to be here but i wouldnt like to be without it in my life .

Good blog Less, I love Accyweb I think its very addictive esp the games, I tend to read more than I post but its the first site I visit after I switch on, I also enjoy the meets when I can make them.

It got me through looking after my mum - everynight i spent in the old chatroom (in no particular order)- tinks, slinks, cherokee, cashy, rindy, doozer, neil, spug, chav (when he appeared) cheered me up. Met people that i probably wouldnt have met. Now i dont know whether to thank accyweb for this or not - spug - but seeing as we've been together for over a year maybe i should. Most of the people on here are nice you can have a laugh with them which saved my sanity when i was down.
