Re: Do People Look As You Imagined Them?
Don't really know what anyone looks like .... maybe I don't want to, as it would spoil the images .... I always did prefer the book to the movie.
I look Canadian, eh. .... sort of a cross between a lumberjack and an aging hippy.;) |

Well I've met very few people on here, cashy was much like I thought he would be, but was surprised how well we got on. I always thought of Rindi as an art student with long hair and colurful clothes, that is until saw his picks in the gallary. Young AndrewB (cyfr) was just as I imagined him. As for most of the others I've never met I ain't got a clue. Oh yes I think of Mancie as Freddy Frinton:D

I also resemble my avatar ... yes, I look like a house with a Land Rover parked outside ... drunken women with absolutely no taste occasionally find this attractive;) but not too often:D:D |

This is leafy Cheshire, we have millions of trees. :) My son-in-law doesn't chop 'em down, he just looks as though he would, given half a chance. :D |

As well as the way they look I really struggle with names - I've got to know a few people off here but still call them by their online name.

Re: Do People Look As You Imagined Them?
When I came over for my first Meet, and met 20 - 30 of you guys (all at once), it was pretty overwhelming: between putting names with faces and then the various accents. Funny how my thoughts went so quickly to meeting these complete strangers (physically speaking) to quickly warming up to each when the Accy names started fitting into the various characteristics and personalities I'd come to know and love from Accyweb.
I hope that makes at least a bit of sense! Brian |
