Anyone know of a music shop that.....

Does a lease to buy scheme for Flute's??

Have rang around a few places and unless I want to be paying around £90 every 3 months and forking out over £400-00 on a flute then I need somewhere else

My daughter is only 9 and I'd like to know if she enjoys learning the instrument before we buy her an expensive one, so when someone suggested renting one I thought great! Til I realised it was their top notch ones:(

Anyway, any insight would be great:D
Thanks

Yeah rang them, there's are £400 too lol
2nd hand range from £200-£400
They don't do a scheme anymore either, they do a buy back thing where ya gotta buy it outright then ya can take it back and they pay a percentage of it back to ya

Most Schools have musical instruments, one of my daughters attended Peel Park School, the class was asked who wanted to learn an instrument, the teachers let each child try one of their choice, Adrienne chose the flute, tried to blow it and failed, no help from the techer, she was heartbroken when she came home from school.
Got my fathers Cornet out of the loft showed her how it worked, gave her a tutor book, within a fortnight she could play it better than me.
She still wanted the flute though, so I made the top part of a flute out of German Silver and showed her the correct way to hold it and blow, she was delighted, I then bought her a second hand flute at Ready's, found her a teacher. Within 12 months she'd passed several music exams, her teacher was delighted with her talent.

One day I said go to that teacher at school, ask to have another go at the flute, and then give it your best, then hand it back and tell him to shove it, she did, she also taught the teacher a valuable lesson.

Retlaw.
