omg i was taking to someone about that the other day.... one of the forums i go on has recipes for smoothies and placenta related meals, there also other things that you can do, placenta prints, bury it under a tree, freeze it.... i will be nice and let sue, my midwife have it do whatever she wishes with it :D

I wonder what is going through a womans mind when shes eating a recently 'shed' placenta, hows about "i must be mental, maybe my brains come out with the afterbirth"....

its supposed to help you get better after the birth and some think it prevents post natal depression..
