Large Wooden Storage Box

I am looking for a large wooden storage box / chest to use for toys (and with the ammount these 2 have plus more at christmas it will need to be quite big) Ive looked through Argos etc but cant find anything that I think is suitable. Does anyone have any idea where I will be able to find something like this but not too expensive??

Thanks

IKEA | Children's ikea | Storing | Children's small storage

have you had a look at some of these there are some wooden ones, i dont mean the incredibly expensive one at the top of the page.....i know its not what you asked for as well but ive heard good things about the smaller trofasts

giz a shout if your planning a trip to ikea, i could do with a couple of things :D lol

Re: Large Wooden Storage Box

Childresn storage is no good, too small for what they have, already got kiddies storage bench etc but just not big enough, probably need something more along the lines of a bedding / blanket box or similar (and dont fancy going ikea, always have a car full of kids so dont think they would be overly impressed with a journey just to look at boring furniture lol)

Why not get the plastic boxes with the lids on ... you could stack them up out of the way ...

The only problem I can think of though is will they be able to reach in for their toys?

Think it is something similar to a bedding box i want, just to make it look neater and easier to put away (especially when they want to help me lol)

Just been measuring up....mines bigger than the one i linked but i cant seem to find it on the website. It was £15 and you have to put it together yourself, maybe they only do the smaller ones now.

Perhaps it was planning for the credit crunch-

credit crunch=less money
less money=less toys
less toys=less storage needed

*unless you live at *Emzys*!!!!!!

Lol! That reminds me of my twins when they were little. I had one of those large 50s style bedding boxes, and took the castors off it, chucked absolutely everything in it. They were regularly inside it. :D
