When did fireworks become a New Year thing in the UK ? thought they were only available around Nov 5th Bonfire nights :confused:

Still have 6 1/2 hours to go here , but of a .......(that word we are not allowed to use) living here , everything has allready happened by the time we get to midnight ;) :D

Happy New Year to you too, you are so lucky to be living in the San Fran Bay Area, i visited a few years ago and loved it, what a gorgeous place.............like Accrington.....:rolleyes:

Guess when you live in a place you tend to take it for granted , one of my favourite times is whenever I travel to the UK and the planes starts it descent into London from somewhere over Scotland and you see all the green fields and countryside spread-out down below you . ;)

LOL, i know what you mean.....although i certainly don`t take Accrington for granted......i`d much prefer to see goose bay in Canada on my approach into North America......:D

:D each and every time I fly over that place (Goose Bay) it allways crosses my mind where in Gods name would the Pilot put this thing down in case of an emergency :D
