Gas Bottle Removal
 

Just a quick question. Does anyone know if the council collect unwanted gas cylinders?. I have a large gas cylinder which i used for a caravan. I got it on hire from Home Heat but i cant get them to collect and its been 4 years now!. Any help for be great. Thanks

I would either take it to home heat, or to the tip where they have a cage to put them in. However, if ya leave them outside, there are a right friendly bunch who use them for caravans, and it probably wont stay around for too long, the council wont collect it I dont think, and neither will another gas company if thier name isnt on it, it is not allowed!

They get asked for on Freecycle every now & again, so that people can take them to swap for a filled one.

try ringing accygas if its still going, they take them
