Whats the best piece of advise you were ever given

Whats the best piece of advice anybody has ever given you?
I think mine was from my Dad on the night before I started work, he told me that when anybody is trying to teach you anything never say I KNOW, because they may never tell you out again. The thinking behind that statement was that he said he was still learning (he was 42 at the time)and would be until the day he died and that has stood me in good stead over the years

My manager said that to us a couple of months ago on nights. The ironic thing about him saying it was that he was the one causing us the problems :D:D:D

The best advice I have had was....'find something you enjoy doing, then get someone to pay you to do it'......and I did.
I trained as a nurse and enjoyed a very fruitful and satisfying career.

Parental advice.

Hold your head up high.

You're as good as anyone else.

No better, no worse.

I remember being told at the age of 15, (when boys started coming on the scence) "they dont look at the mantlepiece when there poking the fire!" I guess it was good advice, never forgot it anyway, but dont think the person who said it was insulting me in any way lol

"Never name-drop" This was a piece of advice given me by Winston Churchill, who I was pleased to call my friend.

Ah go on risk it, tell the real truth instead of your version, for a change.

Perhaps you might be interested in my new Social Group? Just look under Community, ( a word strange to your vocabulary but I'm sure Wikipedia can give you your version of it).
