That's a good idea dave, there maybe local businesses who will act as sponsors and individuals maybe willing to adopt an animal in pets corner, so seeing I've suggested it I'll be the first to volunteer to sponsor an animal any other takers

When I received my Friends calendar I did offer to pay for it, but because of the way it was funded, you couldn't be seen to 'sell' them. Would it be finacially worthwhile to produce one for next year, that could help with funding, or even Christmas cards if anyone's taken some nice photographs in the park in the recent snow?

Even a calendar featuring the animals should prove popular, and there's no shortage of animal lovers out there.

People were very impressed with the calendars, and I'm sure wouldn't mind paying a good price for them if the money was being used for such a good cause.

Could be an idea to get different firms to sponsor a month on the calendar, which would offset the production costs, then all sales could go to the fund

We are doing one for next year and we will be charging a nominal fee for it.

In the meantime, I think I might do a raffle - anyone got any prizes to donate?

Anyone willing to sell a book of tickets?
