Straw or solid?
 

Listening to radio lancashire this morning tony livesey was questioning the spanish you got in the sherbet fountain ... did it have a hole through the middle of it and try to suck the sherbet up through it or was it solid with a flat bit on the end to scoop up the sherbet?

When i was a kid i used to suck on the spanish and dip it into the sherbet ... and then when no spanish left tip the sherbet up into my mouth!!!

Why he was talking about it was because theyre changing the packaging on the sherbet fountain .. from cardboard and paper to a plastic flip top thing .....

Now with all this about recycling going on .. wouldnt it be better in a cardboard and paper packaging rather than a plastic flip top lid ..

Siobhan loves them but always scoffs the spanish long before the sherbets gone. I'd azgree that paper is far more environmentally friendly than plastic.

i never liked the spanish....makes me gag having something so long in my mouth

i love the sherbet though...love the way it foams up in mi mouth
