Haven't been down to Tottleworth for years Flashy. Not a place you pass ... just a very small hamlet at the end of Tottleworth Road.

If you go towards Rishton from Clayton, around the bend ... approximately 100 metres on the right 'Tottleworth Road' which leads you to this very small development. Didn't know it existed myself until some friends moved there.

Think was some sort of farming community originally ? Sorry, that's all I know.

Kate i was telling my bro about it earlier, then i realised where it was, there are some livery stables at the far end of Tottleworth Road, my friend used to have her horse on there...i've never been into Tottleworth itself though, might have to go up over the bridge and investigate when i'm on the canal again on Friday

Not sure how it links to the bridge at all .. don't think the canal follows the village, etc.

Got me interested now, will have a walk down there shortly.

Someone will know on here.
