I Don't Suppose There's A Relevant Wheelie Bin...

My lovely fish, Jeremy (aka Lazarus), is in the latter stages of shuffling off this mortal coil.

He's died about a dozen times over his two-year existence (a swift bang on the side of the tank would usually suffice for a resurrection) but this time I can tell he's going to be an ex-fish very soon.

I don't suppose he'd taste very nice, and I don't really want to send him swirling into a watery oblivion. When he does cease to be, what do I do with him?

Andy, i used to put mine in the bin, you could always bury it i suppose, what sort of fish is it? a tiny bit of salt (in the water) can sometimes perk them up

Salt you say...

I'll have a go.

This is Jezzer:

He's a red cap oranda if I remember rightly. He does defy all medical knowledge, though, so God knows what he actually is. He probably runs on uranium.

Y'know what, I think it's going to take more than a bit of salt.
I'm thinking ground up pro plus on the end of a battery?
Poor thing, I wish he'd just conk it.

Is the bin the best way? I ain't doing no digging.

just pop him in a bag and put him in the bin or down the loo

stick some espresso in the bowl, he might perk up then ;)

bang him on the outside of the tank for a change , that should finish him off:D

or

get mum to buy a similar fish and flush that one down the loo while your out, this also works with rabbits , cats and various other pets garnished with a small white lie or two

He finally shuffled off last night.

In an almost ironic demise, he's now in the wheelie bin.

It was a sad affair for all.

He didn't look too mithered, believe it or not. He always was a perky chap!

Until... y'know.
