Siren???
 
Did anyone else get woken by some sort of siren going off at about 4 this morning?? It was just like a constant tone, not a house / car alarm or anything like that. What on earth was it? (Other than very annoying :rolleyes:)

It was driving me mad though ended up getting up at 5am
could not get back to sleep once awake

I was the same but did manage to get back to sleep luckily but it was at about 5, and was woken not long after by the boys :rolleyes:

If the siren was sounding for that long there must have been a serious problem at the plant, as yet nothing on the LT web site. I used to cringe when the siren sounded at Nipa (Cockers) it always meant problems:eek:

My Ma told me about it too......and she lives in Woodnook.
she couldn't get back to sleep after being woken, so she is rather cranky today:D.

i'm in woodnook and i didnt hear it so it didnt wake Grace up .... when im a sleep if its not one of the kids.... i dont care :D

I think it was the fact that arsenic is stored/used there that stopped the re-developement of buildings like the Commercial, it is considered to dangerous nowadays to have people living to close.

It is the presence of the 1 tonne chlorine cylinders as to why there has been no re-development there.
I didn't hear any siren this morning.
