ID Fraud
Just received a text message that read:ID fraud may be closer than you think.
When times are hard don't make it easier. Visit www halifax co uk/IDFraud. Anyone else had this or am I the "lucky" one? Have not used the link. |
Re: ID Fraud
No Text for me.
Checked the link and page not found, it does take tyou to halifax website though. I would advise anyone who wants to go to the bank website, go there yourself not via any link sent to you. |

Re: ID Fraud
I just found it a bit ironic when it was one of their employees in a call center in Ireland that gave my details to a stranger in London and issued him/her with a debit card in my name.
Despite the person getting my address wrong. Put me through 2 years of hell clearing my name. |
Re: ID Fraud
I don't use my mobile Beni, but I still get plenty of emails from every bank in the country asking me, for security purposes, to upgrade on line, I even got one purporting to be from the CEO of Lloyds TSB, they all get deleted
