Hey, thats good .. never found that one before. Just bits here, there and everywhere.

Always find the Parish Church records handy too for All Saints if you are looking for Births/Marriages/Deaths of ancestors and their addresses.

I have 'History of the Parish of Clayton le Moors' by Trappes-Lomax (1926) for sale in my catalogue of Lancashire books, a copy of which can be obtained by email from [email protected]. In recent years there has been one compiled- photos with captions - by a local lady. Available for sale in the library and the Town Hall.

What a memory Kate, your right, got it it a couple of years ago and thanks everyone for the info, I was Baptized at St Mary's, do they have a website. The Vic had quite a history Kate, my dad used to do a bit of work when they had Boxing Matches on in the old days, Graham Nash was seen there a few times as well in the 60s , not playing just socializing, I seem to remember Johnny Kid plating there. It wasnt alwasys sleezly, only when Skinner had it.
