Is this right?

After being woken up the flippin alarm clock when i wanted a lie in as no work this weekend i went on a bit of a cursing session over the alarm clock. After calming down i started to wonder what was the most important invention creation discovery. So I went through computers mobile phone tv cd dvd record player radio aeroplane for starters. Then it was life saving drugs pain killers chemotherapy radiotherapy pioneering surgery. Even went through mirowaveable food plastic nylon hell even washing machines tumble driers cars chocolate coffee. It was doing my head in thinking of this so got up and had a brew and started thinking what we couldnt do without and then it hit me like a train while having my brew it was water clean fresh safe water something we take for granted but cant live without. Maybe it was something profound or just one of those things that started this off.

So i must be going bonkers if this is the best thing on my mind for a Saturday morning.

Water is a bit of a luxury here, it is bought into the site by tanker and pumped into a large tank. We have hot and cold taps for sink, shower and washing machine, and a filtered tap for drinking water. It was not till i moved here, that i gave how much water was used, any consideration. It is one of the first things you are told when you move onto site, take care as to how much water you use.

Without a doubt it was the second wheel as the first one was of little use on it's own until the wheelbarrow was invented.

Out here in Sicily, there are many towns where running tap water arrives every 15 days
and it also costs us a fortune to buy mineral water because tap water is for domestic use only.
It's probably safer to drink the wine!
So you are right Spuggie, you (the Brits) do take it for granted.

When we were stationed in Germany they told us the water was safe to drink
then I saw some of the pipes it came thru
We had bottle water delivered well worth the price
