Astronomy

I am a scout leader and we have been looking at Astronomy. We are looking at either visiting a Astronomy centre (but where) or if any body around the Accrington Area is into Astronomy that would like to teach scouts (for an hour) their experiences and knowledge then please PM them.

When I was a scout we regularly went to Runcorn to an astronomy centre there, for the life of me I cant remember what it was called, but it had its own large mechanical/motorised telescope which we were allowed to use under supervision of the astronomers.
