Just make sure the black pudding is fried not boiled, surrounded by bacon, sausage, mushrooms and two runny eggs & wrapped in chunks of doorstep bread and I'll gladly catch it. Similar to this:-

now I prefer boiled if having it on its own with mustard and bread and fried if with sausgae/bacon etc

Black Pudding are great, especially when prepared by the method described by Less, but lets not forget that other delicacy which has crept over the boarder from Bonny Scotland, the Haggis, as I'm sure the Accy Web Haggis appreciation society will rightly testify:D

I really miss black puddings. Boiled with some salt or fried for breakfast. I was well happy when I first came here to live as they are served as a starter in some restaurants. Then I tried one. Nothing like ours as they are sweet with almonds and sometimes with cheese.

Other things on my miss list.........tripe, steak puddings and pork pies!
