Re: a question for you all ..
if it was a birthday card its probably been opened by a royal mail employee hopng to find a tenner or somthing
watch dog did a test and posted 4 birthday cards with money in and only two made its destination and out of those two one had been opened and the tenner removed. they also employ a lot of temps who abandon carts in teh street because they cant be bothered delivering them and people can just help themselves to the mail then again it could turn up |
Re: a question for you all ..
We posted a registered letter to DWP Newcastle on 29 June, able to track through France Poste to London arriving 1 July. Haven't tried tracking any further - YET
DWP Newcastle say it takes up to 28 days for mail to be cleared into departments as all mail, especially from overseas has to be checked before release to the appropriate department. What sort of BS is this. I have worked in the security world and this statement was patently rubbish. A letter they supposedely sent out to us on 29 June has not arrived - statement from DWP - we use a private courier service (TNT via any number of EU countries) and it can take 28 days to deliver. If the Royal Mail is hasving difficulties why do Government Departments not use them instead of private companies - a smell of something not quite right in the State of Denmark:-))) |
Re: a question for you all ..
I received a postcard today from China that was delivered a week ago. I probably received my postcard from China quicker than you'll receive your letter :p the system is crazy!

Re: a question for you all ..
i have eventually received it .. after having to go down accrington to the main office on infant street and pay the postage ...
yesterday the postman stuck a card through my door saying there was a letter down at accy and it owed postage .. not the right amount of postage on it .. and i had to go down before 1.30pm any day this week and pay the postage and then i could pick it up. So today i went down for it ... now spugs said to me the second one was the same size as the other one .... yeah right .. hes a numbskull ... and thats putting it politely ... and hes already had the telling off .. the first part .. in a phone call ... whatr he'd done was stuck a 1st class stamp on a A4 size letter ... this is classed as a big letter .. and it costs 10p more .. had to pay the 10p and a £1 handling charge ... hes in big big trouble!!!! |
Re: a question for you all ..

Re: a question for you all ..
It´s evil trying to get a card home from here. They never get to England on time and in most cases go missing.
I went on Moonpig a few months ago. Perfect, everything gets there and everyone is happy. |
Re: a question for you all ..
A couple of months ago I cancelled an hospital appointment, they sent me a new date through the post, on that particular day my post arrived at 11-10am, when I opened the letter the new appointment was 11-15am on the day the letter arrived doh
