HAVE YOU A SONY MP3 payer
 

I am referring to Sony NWZ-A728 but perhaps my question can be answered if you have a different model.

When connected to a PC to add files there are a few Folders. I am asking if there are files in the Folders named DCIM and MPROOT.

I have no Files in these two Folders which I suspect is the reason I cannot add MP3 Files.

Sorry Mick if I should have posted in Technical Help but it is a fairly simple request and I thought that putting it here would perhaps reach more people.

DCIM is usually for pictures, MPROOT I guess stands for Media Player Root

just dump the MP3s in teh MPROOT folder and you should be OK.
