Hi, does anyone know whats happening with the Altham/Simonstone Horse Racecourse, haven't heard anything for a while ????

I have a drink two or three times a week in the Read Club with a Simonstone Councillor and he tells me that all has gone quite and it looks like the plan is scrapped.
I also have a mate who owns the Dunkirk Farm and he hasn't even had a letter asking him if he will sell part of his land and The Bridge Heywood Caravan Park which would be needed according to the outline plans we have seen.

I will ask again tomorrow night when I meet them again.

that was the "Zeri" complex if i remember right, think the guy was called "Eddie Quiglotti" or summat, would be mid/late 70s, he shoulda stuck to selling ice cream.:D
