Have you got anything old in your home

Still blowing strong! The hairdryer Made in Britain 80 years ago | Mail Online

After seeing this article I was wondering what other people have in their homes that they've had for years. The only thing I can come up with is a Mirror which hangs on my bedroom wall was a wedding present when I first got married in 1967 so its 43 years old

I have a chamber pot which was a wedding present to my mum and dad in the 30s.

I also have a solid silver thimble which belonged to my dad's mother -I could date it if I could be bothered to research the hallmark - all I know is that it is 'pre 1900'.

I have three silver medals which my dad won in the 1920s/30s for cycle racing.

I have my grandma's old hoover from the 1950's which still works and gets used in an emergency.

I also have my favourite telephone which is one of the old black bakelite one's from the 1950's and of course my red telephone box on the drive

My uncle's stuff from WW1.
Some of my Grandfathers tools, some where in the shed.

the cooker must be at least 50 years old, do they still have the same attachments nowadays?

Your living dangerously hinting that Flashy's an old boiler.
I wouldn't dare. Oh go on then, I'll join you in the bunker.
