hi just wondering if anyone got a parking ticket on the home bargain car park over christmas from a company called excel.:mad:

i didnt even know they even worked on there.i drive a biggish van and because of other peoples parking i had to park a tiny bit accross the white line and got a ticket for £60.was tryin to find out if anyone else had had this and if they managed to fight it.

its just not right.they must be sat waiting to prey on anything they can pull anyone for.i was only in shop for about 10 mins.no wonder people hate them so much.

There is a simple answer, don't use the shop, money spends anywhere

check out the thread common law, Whatever you do dont respond to the ticket, if you do you have then entered into an agreement with the company. Read the thread first & check out common law, the ticket cannot be enforced.

Well when I go to my appeal against a ticket issued by Bury Council's wardens, if I win (which I should) I'll post on here. The thing is Gordon if you read about Common Law you might understand it a little better, instead of slating what you more than likely havent read about, if you have read it then you would be of the understanding that the ticket cannot be enforced,

Not sure what is going on here, the carpark is shared with I think 4 shops, it is not a pay to park , so what rules are being enforced for a ticket to be issued ?

Like I said earlier don't shop there, if nobody is shopping in these establishments it may just focus their minds a little, no customers no wages;)

What did you do to get a ticket and what is your defence?
