Anyone share my interests?

Which are theatre and love of cats mainly although I do have others I was hoping to make friends with like minded people locally so I'd thought I'd start here.

Yo ... I am a cat person too ... oh, and dogs ... and fish ... and most animals other than humans:D

Theatre ... I don't know about that ... but I did once submit an article titled something like "'There's husbandry in heaven. Their candles are all out.' Metaphor As Special Effect in Elizabethan Drama" Forget what happened to it.;)

Couldn't do that ... didn't want to risk the chance that someone might actually read it, and die of boredom sitting on my flush;):D

I just love all animals (apart from humans, not so keen on those. I can take them or leave them).

Less walks forward reading the script, wearing an Edwardian type mustache gives it a quick stroke, ties you to the railway tracks, covers you in kit-e-kat so that as the train separates your head from your body, the Ferrell kittys are already salivating and you dare to say there's no need to be so dramatic?

P.s. I like the bit in your Public Profile where you say OCCUPATION Retried.
Are you sure you don't mean retired?
:D

Very much a cat woman and I wish I could go to the theatre more often - always enjoyed plays and musicals when I was a student and I used to take part in out school productions every year. Haven't been to the theatre for aeons -unless you count seeing Aida last year at the Arena in Verona -a once in a lifetime experience - brilliant but five hours sitting on stone seats is not something you can do every week!

Haha!

I've not seen that. I like the theatre but don't go often enough to claim it as an 'interest'.

I'm a very sad lass actually-I went to see 'Blood Brothers' once and liked it that much that I went again the following night, AND the night after that, by myself!
Not been since saw Les Miserables few years ago now.
Have somehow been roped into a date in London watching 'The Rocky Horror Show' in January........:do-one:

Re: Anyone share my interests?

The Rocky horror show very good, but be very broad minded. When we went to see it most of the audience were dressed as the opposite sex to themselves. With one or two transvestites among us.
