Have a guess
Just been reading on another website about the Butlers Arms in Pleasington, which has just been renovated, would anybody like to have a guess at what they are charging for a large glass of red wine and a pint of beer:rolleyes:

Re: Have a guess
A brief google provides wine prices
Fresh home cooked food & real ale - Pub - The Butlers Arms - The Wine List I don't care to guess about beer prices; are you thinking of having a trip out? |

Their desserts look rather nice though - and they're not that expensive.

Re: Have a guess
A few weeks ago I went to the Crofters at Garstang to a haulage meeting.
I ordered two pints of lager for me and a friend and was charged £7.80. £3.80 a pint is a bit much that's why I only had three. It's £2.50 a pint in Read Con. |
Re: Have a guess
Well I reckon you'd be charged about the same as two good nights out on the lash used to cost in the 60's, (including bus fare home and a chip shop supper)!

Re: Have a guess
1 Good night n fags n supper n change from £1 early 60s.;)

Re: Have a guess
Well the cost of a pint of, I think it was called Duechers, was £3-50p and a glass of red wine £7-50p that's £11 for the two, I think if I'd have ordered the drinks and asked for £11 I'd have walked out and left them on the bar, that daylight robbery, well the wine is:mad:
