Nori Bricks wanted

A pal is wanting to acquire some pre-decimal size Noris. They are not the conventional red-glazed ones, but are a yellowish outer colour, though the insides are red. The faces are rough rather than smooth. I think they might be called 'rustic' Is it possible to go to the Whinney Hill site and buy from there? Where else would these be available, even second-hand? Any phone number for the Whinney Hill site?

I thought that site was now closed, don't think they would have any bricks left over in Imperial sizes any way.

Hanson Building Products closed its Accrington factory earlier this year. They have recently donated a model of a 1909 double brick press machine to Accrington Market Hall - I carried out the official unveiling last Wednesday morning as Mayor of Hyndburn. The firm's head office is at:-
Hanson UK headquarters
Hanson House
14 Castle Hill
Maidenhead
Berkshire SL6 4J
