Been on there Cashman, but there`s no email address, just an online form to fill in. Thought there may be someone on here who has a direct email address to the place in Huncoat. If not I might take a walk up there tomorrow.

OK, no probs, just assumed they didn't have one after looking on that?;)

Seems strange that they don`t have email, you`d think they`d make it as easy as possible to get in touch.

They wont respond to you or do anything until they get a lot of complaints about the same thing

Well that`s disappointing, but, i`ve got to assume there will be others have contacted them. If not, then i`ve at least done my bit.

Re: RSPCA Email

I know that a couple of years since ,several people I know that are dog lovers reported a farmer near us about a border collie left in ( for want of a better word a rabbit hutch with wire netting across the front) a kennel by a cattle grid. The dog was left in the baking sun with no fresh water and lying in it's own muck. I went up one day and the dog had pushed his nose through the mesh and the wire was almost in it's eyes. I got home and contacted the RSPCA and told them if they don't get up straight away the dog will go blind
About after 1/2 hr when I got home the RSPCA were at my door saying thet could not find this dog.I went up with the inspector to show them. All they did was put a notice on the kennel for the owner to contact them

Re: RSPCA Email

That`s horrible, but this is nothing like that, think tying a dog to a roof rack and driving down the street with it stood on the roof of your car and you aren`t a million miles off. So a visit from RSPCA might make them think twice about doing it again, but i doubt it.

That must be a Police matter.
Don't bother with the RSPCA I have heard a few stories that make me feel they are a waste of time

That`s what they`ve told me today. They gave me a number to ring for advice, but will probably have to contact the police, and i`m a bit reluctant to do that.Firstly, it`s most likely that they are gypsies and so nothing will get done, and secondly, i`m behind the wheel when I took the photo so chances are I would be the one in bother.
The dog is tied onto the back of that truck with very little room because of the quad bike.

They only make a show of doing something when television cameras are about.

Yes, they also built a new head office in London, when asked why they spent so much, they claimed they needed to be seen as a central office, (or words to that effect), I think they need to be using the charity money where it belongs, on sick and abused animals, their head office could be a commercial unit almost anywhere so long as the money is used wisely.

They also spend a lot on new uniforms when a boilersuit will do when dealing with animals

I think it's channel 5, wildlife rescue? recorded during the 90's?

That show's far more about protecting animals than the RSPCA ever do. They deserve donations in comparison.

But what the hey, the RSPCA spend umpteen amounts on TV adverts, they will get the dosh.

It's the same with so many other charities, they get the publicity and spend nothing!

Look at how many 'Charities', lost money because they'd tucked it away gaining interest in the Icelandic banks? Rather than actually using it for the cause they plead millions from ordinary folk?

How so? I see a red light up front, so you were stationary at the time. :idunno:

Still against the law unless you are parked with engine off, even so, think I might just take that chance and give the cop shop a ring tomorrow. Could always say I was a passenger.
