NTL email
 

Is anyone having trouble getting their email from NTL? I know for a fact I should have at least 5 emails but it just flashes through saying no new messages........

On the NTL homepage there is a notice saying that there has been problems in the last 24hours with their services. They hope to resume normal services soon.

Thanks Sara I had been to the home page and never saw that but honestly don't know how I missed it, perhaps it's time to visit the optician....lol. I have a link to status of NTL and last time I checked (Afew hours ago) everything was supposedly ok.

What's the link for NTL status, don't think i've ever seen one.

If you go to ntl home page and click on service Restored at top it will take you to the status page, I saved this in my favourites .

Latest information
ntlworld internet customers may currently find that email that has been sent to them over the last 3 days has not yet been delivered. This is due to a major outage that is now resolved. Customers should note that any outstanding email should be delivered to them throughout the day today, Friday 25th February.

None a lot are from accyweb and the rest are private mail i dont get spam

Lucky you.

You should see my Tiscali inbox. It remains unconnected to Outlook, as I only get spam in there.

The thing is, I have never ever given that email out to anyone, but from day 1 it got bombed.

It will be no great loss when I eventually cancel my contract with them.

At one time on a freeserve account my dad was getting up to 500 every two days :S 10 of which were personal emails which needed attention, the rest, spam.

Not had that problem since I bought a domain and started using that for email, not one spam in a year or so, however I have started using gmail now, its very nice, ive had 3spam emails over the last month or two and all have been directed to the spam box :)
